Gregynog Hall

Gregynog Hall is an historic house with Grade 1 listed gardens set in the stunning landscapes of Montgomeryshire. Its former owners Gwendoline and Margaret Davies established it as a centre of excellence for the arts and culture in Wales. The formal gardens are surrounded by ancient parkland and wood-pasture habitats, described by CADW as ‘one of the most important parks and gardens in Powys, dating from at least 1500

Eating and Drinking

The courtyard cafe serves a range of delicious light meals and cakes prepared from locally sourced ingredients by the Head Chef.  There is a licenced bar in the cafe serving wine and beer including  Blayney’s Brew’, a locally made beer from the award winning Monty’s brewery.

 

The cafe will be open from 11.0am to 4.00 pm.  Last orders are 30 minutes before closing.

Directions

Gregynog Hall is located near the quiet village of Tregynon, 6 miles north of Newtown.

 

It is within 2 hours travel from Manchester, Birmingham, Chester and Liverpool and just 50 minutes from Shrewsbury. Use the postcode SY16 3PL which will bring you into the hall grounds via the main Estate entrance.
